Book Club

The February Book Club will meet on Tues, Feb. 7th at 7:30pm at the home of Laura Kelley. The book is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. Hope you can join us! Please RSVP to Laura at laura.bean.kelley@gmail.com. The March Book Club will meet March 6th and the book is Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson.

The SCNC Book Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm for wine, appetizers and conversation about the latest books or anything that strikes your fancy! We continue to have a great turnout and always welcome new members. Don’t hesitate to join us even if you haven’t finished the book. Remember, you can receive a 15% discount at both the Front Street Book Shop in Scituate and Buttonwood Books in Cohasset for any books purchased for our group.

Ladies Night Out:

Join us for a relaxing night at the newly designed spa at Hernan Salon! For all of you new ladies, this is a great salon to know about...they do everything, and they are sooooo nice and welcoming!

Everyone will pay a flat fee of $20, and then you will choose which services you might like to have including:

- Mini mani

- Mini pedi

- Hand treatment

- Food soak and scrub

- Dry lip treatment

- Eye lash extensions

As always, we'll have light snacks and plenty of wine!!

Pre-Super Bowl Chili Cook-off:

Come share your favorite chili recipe at our pre-Super Bowl chili cook off. The winner will receive a gift card to the new burger joint in town - Backyard Burger! The club will provide beer and wine and test your knowledge with a little football trivia. If chili is not your thing, please indicate if you can bring an appetizer or dessert in your RSVP.
