St. Patrick’s Day is an enchanted time - a day to begin transforming winter’s dreams into summer’s magic. - Adrienne Cook
I’m starting to feel like spring is peering around the corner hoping to show her face, and I’m ready. I’m looking forward to spring events both inside and hopefully, outside, too. Kids can have fun this month at the Gym Dandy event and burn off some late afternoon energy. The book club is preparing to read and discuss To Kill a Mockingbird, which is a classic. Cocktail club will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the luck of the Irish and us ALL with an evening of merriment on Saturday, March 13th. A reminder that the Scituate St. Patrick’s Day Parade will follow the next day, Sunday, March 14th. It’s a great family event and always fun to see neighbors and friends along the parade route. As well, the Special Interest group will be hosting a cooking demonstration on March 4th and providing the opportunity for CPR training on March 11th.
The Community Outreach Committee is hoping that we all come together to volunteer for the evening at Cradles to Crayons and help them continue the tremendous efforts that they provide to our surrounding communities in these challenging times. I think it would warm all of our hearts if we gave them some of our time and people power!
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way -
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.
